Christmas has come and gone, but Sonya is still having a blast with all her new toys! Grammy Poliquin came into town to spend the holidays with us and we all had a fun time. Sonya enjoyed ripping the wrapping paper and playing with all the noisy toys she got. Grammy enjoyed feeding Sonya her first vegetable--sweet potatoes (they were a hit). We can't wait for Grammy's next trip. Sonya also went to her first New Year's Eve party and lasted all the way til 6pm! Party animal!

Is this beard real?
Over the past month, Sonya has mastered all aspects of rolling over and doesn't even mind tummy time anymore. She is grabbing at everything and likes to sing in bed when she wakes up. She's tried a few different veggies and seems to like butternut squash best. We also have our first tooth coming up (so THAT'S why we've had so many sleepless nights).

Up at the crack of dawn, of course!
Its been cold here in Portland, but we've been bundling up and getting outside anyways. We even had some snow yesterday. Sonya wasn't sure what to make of the cold stuff hitting her face, but someday she'll probably love it. Sonya is enjoying her visit from Larry, who is staying with us for a bit while he gets settled in Portland after relocating from North Carolina. Sooo, who's next?

We love playing with Grammy (and our toys)
