Well, we've had a very exciting month with Thanksgiving and then a fun visit from Alexa, Nate, Declan, and Zane. The gang visited the Oregon Zoo (where we saw some cool bats), Multnomah Falls, a local brewery, and of course, Voodoo Donuts! Sonya was very interested in her cousins and perhaps learned a few tricks from them. Only a few days after they left, she rolled over from tummy to back for the first time! Declan enjoyed hanging out with Margo and Chester and Zane was busy trying to master walking. We had a blast with everyone and hope to see them again soon.

Sonya is doing great! She had her 6 month checkup/vaccinations, and although we have yet to break the 11 lb mark, the doctor says she's doing fine. A few days after rolling tummy to back, she mastered the back to tummy roll. She also tried solids for the first time! We started out with cereal and I think most of it ended up on her bib, not in her stomach (as expected). She was very excited to eat, grabbing the spoon and shoving it in her mouth. She is more vocal and everything interests her!

We also had a visit from Larry, who was in town with girlfriend Mandy. We hit up a brewery (of course!) and couldn't pass up a chance to go to Voodoo Donuts. Needless to say, its been a busy month! Sonya has enjoyed meeting everyone and is now getting ready for Santa...
