Time is flying! John is working his tail off and I'm doing a mix of cooking, volunteering, and getting kicked by this quickly growing baby! Hard to believe we are only ~11 weeks away! We took advantage of some nice weather in January and checked out some cool parks in the city (Mt. Tabor and Washington Parks). Below is a view from Washington Park, where you can see Mt. St. Helen's and Mt. Ranier all in one shot!

Unfortunately, the rain came back and we've been chilly and wet while the rest of the country is warm and toasty. Oh well, hopefully our spring/summer will get here soon!
We took a quick trip to VA in the beginning of March to visit family and our new nephew, Zane. Sue and Ted were kind enough to have a baby shower for us at their house and it was awesome!! We loved seeing everyone, including my family from CT, RI and FL, and felt it went by too fast. We can't thank everyone enough for coming and the lovely gifts we received. Made us realize we need to get down to business to get ready for this baby!

Our trip ended too quickly, of course, and we're back here in Portland busy as ever. I'll try to be better with the blogs, but really, where is the time going??
