Well October has been a busy month for us here in Idaho. The great summer days on the Palouse have left us with brisk clear fall days. We've wrapped up our garden for the year. Unfortunately the weather turned a little to quickly so we lost some tomatoes, some squash, cucumbers, and some peppers to the cold weather.
However, we were able to score some sweat Idaho potatoes and carrots from our garden. Here is Kelly after the score!.
We were honored to have Alexa celebrate her birthday with us before her trip to Seattle for work. We had a relaxing time hanging out and catching up on some video games and couch time. Chester became Alexa's best friend, following her all over the house and being at her side the entire time.
What do you get when you put a seasoned democrat, a man who changed his name legally to "Pro-Life", a libertarian, and a man who's elk herd were shot when they left his property and ordered by a Republican who didn't appear on stage cause he's going to win regardless? Thats right its the Idaho's debate for US Senate to replace everyone's favorite punch line, Larry Craig.
Election time is upon us and Kelly and I were invited to be in the University of Idaho's homecoming parade by our neighbor who is running for the state house.
Go Judy Brown!
So we decked out the Prius and got to be in our first parade. It was fun and the weather was perfect. Next year I hope to move on to Macy's Parade.
